Lead Pastor

Tim Stoker

Pastor Tim was raised in a second generation, Full Gospel minister’s home where life primarily revolved around God, church and the Master’s business, bringing about his own spiritual new birth and baptism in the Holy Spirit at an early age.

In high school, he received an unmistakable call to preach through a confirmed prophetic message. Preparation for ministry began under his father/pastor, and continued in Bible college. While studying there he met the lovely and consecrated daughter of a missionary, and after graduating, Tim and Rhonda married and launched a life together in ministry, serving as Youth, Associate and Lead Pastors, Christian Educators and Missionaries. These years in ministry, and raising four children to wholeheartedly follow Jesus, has convinced Pastor Tim that we can and must pass our faith on to the next generations by living our lives under the authority of Scripture through the power of the Holy Spirit!

Music Director

Rhonda Stoker

Rhonda’s involvement in ministry came early, working under her Dad, Rev. K.A. Smith, whose church ran one of the largest Sunday School ministries in the state. She then moved with her parents to the mission field of Central America while still a teen, and later served there along with Pastor Tim, totaling nearly 30 years of foreign service. Love for the language and the people has lasted a lifetime. Rhonda holds a BA in Biblical Studies and Ministry, and has a passion for prayer, worship and God’s manifest presence.

Larry Larson

Larry was born and grew up in Dixon, Illinois. Shortly after high school he moved to northwest Iowa, and a year later entered the Air Force, where he served for 20 years at several locations around the U.S., as well as Viet Nam and Thailand.

After completing his Air Force career, Larry went to work for a government contractor providing labor for a data center. He worked there for 17 years, starting at an entry level position and working his way up to management.

Larry later worked 10 years as a contractor for AT&T in several different divisions at the company, the job expanding responsibilities until his retirement in 2013.

His knowledge, experience, wisdom and steadfast love for God, have added great value and blessing to LWF over the years. It is a joy and privilege to have Larry serve our fellowship on the church council.

Advisory Council Member

Robert Chevalier

Robert grew north of Austin Texas in a country town before moving to more urban settings, getting married to his wife, Jennifer, and eventually landing in San Antonio. Initially, his career was in manufacturing and high-tech, but God lead him into the field of respiratory therapy, where he continues serving today.

Robert says, “I was living an angry, bitter and self-indulgent life”, when a coworker committed to fast, pray for, and witness to him – seemingly, without effect. Then, he says, “One night in desperation, I cried out to God, or whoever was listening, and begged for help.  I heard a voice so peaceful.” Then he believed, obeyed the voice and jumped in the pool, and, to his total surprise, came out speaking in another language given by the Holy Spirit. His life was changed from that moment on!

Robert’s favorite Scripture passage is 1 Cor. 6:9-11, which lists all kinds of vile, ungodly sinners, and then declares, “And that is what some you were. But you were washed, you were sanctified, you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God.”  Because of this, Robert believes, he, and the church can love the hard to love, as he was, and see God’s love and grace change them eternally, just as God changed him.
